AccuBreath, was founded in 2017 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our goal is to provide an accurate and robust ventilation and respiration monitoring that raises the bar of patient safety but remains cost effective. AccuBreath™ fills an unmet clinical need in a multi-billion-dollar  market by providing a cost-effective, accurate respiratory support and monitor that is easy-to-use, portable, and reliable. It provides value for facility administrators, providers, and patients.

AccuBreath is managed by an experienced team and further supported by both a clinical and a business advisory board. CEO/co-Founder Spencer Madsen, MS, is an entrepreneur who has raised outside funding and bootstrapped a healthcare business that generated revenue from day one and has grown 75% annually for four years running. Mr. Madsen has over 10 years in engineering and device development to include medical technologies and as an engineer in aerospace. CTO/co-Founder Mike Fogarty, PhD, has spent the last 8 years developing AccuBreath’s hardware and software and gathered clinical data supporting both the benefits and need for such a product.
